The Leimo is a 590mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light with six G9 bulb holders, each enclosed in a spherical crystal shade made from faceted clear crystal beads set into a brass framework. The six arms curve outward from a central French gold ceiling plate, creating a radial spread that sits 170mm below the ceiling once fitted. The French gold finish is a warm-toned brass with a subtle matte overlay, softer in tone than polished brass but brighter than antique brass.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 2.8m where a full pendant would hang too low, the semi-flush configuration provides decorative presence without eating into headroom. The 590mm span suits living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms between 4m and 5m wide, where the fitting acts as the primary ceiling light. The crystal beads refract light from the six G9 bulbs into multi-directional sparkle, creating more ambient spread than a single central globe would achieve.

Each of the six crystal ball shades contains approximately 40 faceted beads held in a brass cage framework, so when lit the combination of refracted light through crystal and reflected light off the French gold arms creates layered illumination. Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 170mm drop from ceiling to lowest point makes this suitable for standard 2.4m UK ceiling heights, leaving approximately 2.2m clearance below the fitting. The semi-flush design provides decorative impact without the headroom loss of a full pendant.

Is the Leimo dimmable?

The fitting itself is compatible with dimmer switches, but dimming requires dimmable G9 LED bulbs and a trailing-edge or universal dimmer rated for LED loads. Non-dimmable G9 LEDs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.
