How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the mains supply and allow bulbs to cool. Use a dry microfibre cloth to dust the chrome arms and backplate. For the crystal beads, a barely-damp lint-free cloth works for fingerprints, but avoid soaking the wireframe or using spray cleaners that may leave residue between the beads.
