Leimo 4 Light Crystal Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - French Gold

The Leimo is a 4-light semi-flush ceiling light built on four curved French gold arms that extend from a central canopy, each terminating in a spherical shade encrusted with faceted clear crystal beads. Each shade houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately, max 33W per bulb), with the crystal beads refracting the light into scattered points across ceilings and walls.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.6m where a full pendant would hang too low, the Leimo projects just 170mm from the ceiling whilst spreading light across a 520mm diameter. The semi-flush format suits hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms in flats and period properties with lower ceilings, and living rooms where ceiling height restricts pendant options. The four arms distribute light evenly without creating a single harsh downward beam.

The French gold finish on the metalwork carries a softer, warmer tone than polished brass or yellow gold, leaning closer to champagne or old gold. This pairs comfortably with cream, taupe and warm grey walls, and with both traditional moulded ceilings and flat contemporary plaster. The crystal beads are individually set into each spherical shade, creating texture and refraction that changes depending on viewing angle and time of day. At 1.6kg the fitting is light enough for standard plasterboard ceiling fixings with appropriate anchors.

Is the Leimo dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable G9 bulbs and pair the circuit with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming — compatibility depends on the specific bulb and dimmer combination you choose.

What bulbs does it take?

The Leimo takes four G9 capsule bulbs, max 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W warm white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting in living spaces and bedrooms.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 170mm projection makes the Leimo suitable for ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.6m, where a full pendant would hang too low. In rooms with ceilings above 2.8m a pendant option often provides better scale and light distribution.

How is the fitting cleaned?

Switch off the circuit and allow bulbs to cool fully. Wipe the French gold metalwork with a dry microfibre cloth. For the crystal beads, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, avoiding soaking. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the fitting or use abrasive materials on the crystal.
