The Leimo is a 3 light semi-flush ceiling light with three curved polished chrome arms extending from a central ceiling plate, each arm holding a spherical shade made from precision-cut crystal spheres. The shades measure approximately 120mm in diameter and sit at different heights on the curved arms, creating a flowing asymmetric arrangement across the 480mm diameter span. Each shade takes a single G9 bulb (sold separately), and the crystals refract and multiply the light output across the room.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m where a pendant would hang too low, the Leimo's 170mm projection from ceiling to base of lowest shade makes it suitable for bedrooms, hallways, dining rooms and living rooms with standard UK ceiling heights. The semi-flush design means the fitting sits close to the ceiling without being fully recessed, giving more visual presence than a flush mount while avoiding the drop of a chandelier. The curved chrome arms create movement without requiring the fitting to rotate or extend further into the room.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient daylight and adds brightness to the room even when the fitting is switched off. The crystal spheres are assembled in a cage-like structure around each G9 socket, so the bulb itself sits inside the sphere and the light passes through multiple facets before reaching the room. This multiplies the effective light output and creates soft sparkle across ceilings and walls. Is the Leimo dimmable?

Yes, if you fit dimmable G9 bulbs. The fitting itself has no dimming circuitry, so dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs you choose and the wall dimmer switch you install. Most LED G9 bulbs rated as 'dimmable' will work with trailing-edge dimmers.

What bulbs does it take?

Three G9 capsule bulbs, maximum 33W each. Bulbs are not included. Most users fit warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3W-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting in living spaces.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 170mm projection suits standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m. In rooms lower than 2.4m the fitting may feel visually heavy; in rooms above 2.7m a pendant light with more drop would typically give better proportions.

How are the crystal shades cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal sphere gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For heavier dust build-up, a slightly damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or using household glass cleaners which can leave streaks on cut crystal.
