Description

The Leimo is a 1-light wall fitting in French gold with a curved metal arm, a decorative crystal leaf accent, and a spherical shade encased in circular crystal beads. The wall plate sits flush against the wall, with the arm sweeping outward and upward to cradle the beaded shade 130mm from the wall surface. A single G9 bulb inside the shade (sold separately, up to 33W) illuminates the crystal beads from within, casting diffracted light patterns across the surrounding wall and ceiling.

Designed for right-handed placement, the Leimo mounts with the arm extending to the right of the backplate when viewed from the front. A matching left-handed version exists for symmetrical installations either side of mirrors, doorways, alcoves or bed headboards. Common applications include bedroom wall lighting, hallway accent lighting, and dining room or living room feature walls where pairs or symmetrical arrangements are preferred. The 180mm height and 250mm width suit standard room proportions without overwhelming narrower walls.

The French gold finish is a warm, mid-tone gold with a subtle satin quality that reduces glare under direct light. The crystal leaf detail on the arm and the circular crystal beads forming the shade are cut glass rather than acrylic, giving sharper light refraction and a heavier feel than plastic alternatives. The 0.5kg weight is light enough for standard cavity fixings on plasterboard or direct screws into masonry. For plasterboard walls where the backplate does not align with a stud, use metal cavity anchors rated for at least 2kg per fixing to ensure secure long-term mounting.
