Description
This is a warm white LED GLS bulb in the classic pear shape, with a clear glass body and an E27 screw cap. Through the glass you can see slim upright filament strips, so it has the look of an old-style filament lamp while drawing just 4W. It gives 350lm at 2700K, the cosy warm light most of us choose for living rooms and bedrooms. It is 10.5cm long with a diameter of 6cm. The IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms only.
Because the glass is clear and the filaments are on show, this bulb suits fittings where the bulb is part of the look: a bare pendant, an open cage shade or a wall light that leaves the lamp visible. It fits any E27 lampholder, the larger screw cap found on many pendants and table lamps, and it runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. Swapping a tired old bulb for this one keeps the familiar shape at just 4W, which is why we offer it as an everyday replacement for hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms.
The bulb is not dimmable, so it belongs in a light worked by an ordinary on/off switch rather than a dimmer. It carries energy class D and weighs 0.067KG packed. Care is simple: switch the light off and let the glass cool before you change the bulb, then wipe the clear glass with a soft, dry cloth to keep the filaments looking crisp. Before you order, check that your lampholder takes an E27 cap and that the shade has room for a bulb 10.5cm long.
