Description

This is a flat LED bulb with a GU10 cap, the two-pin push-and-twist cap found in many spotlights and recessed downlights. Its clear glass shell holds a silvered inner reflector and a front lens, with a flat, wide face and a short body that is 5cm across and 3.5cm long. It draws 4W and gives 400lm of warm white light at 2700K from mains power at 220-240V, 50/60Hz. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Warm white at 2700K gives a soft, golden tone that suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining areas, where a cooler light can feel harsh in the evening. We would put it in a run of ceiling downlights in a hallway or kitchen, or in track spotlights aimed at a shelf, a picture or a reading chair.
