Description
This pack holds two GU10 LED spotlight bulbs. Each is a clear glass cup, faceted around its sides and set on a white base with the two pins that a GU10 lampholder takes. Each bulb is 5.4cm long and 5cm across, so if your spotlight head or downlight is a tight one, measuring the bulb already in it is the quickest way to be sure. The light is warm white at 3000K, with 250 lumens from each bulb. They are rated IP20, which settles where they belong: indoors and in dry rooms, never in a bathroom, beside a sink or outdoors.
Warm white at 3000K is the soft, slightly golden tone that suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and studies, the rooms where you want the evening to feel calm. At 250 lumens per bulb the light is gentle and comfortable. That is right for a reading lamp, a bedside light or a spotlight picking out a picture or a shelf, rather than lighting a whole room alone. Buying them as a pair is handy for a twin spotlight bar or for matching reading lights either side of a bed. It also means two tired bulbs can be swapped at the same time, so both heads give the same colour of light. With a clear glass body, they look tidy in an open spotlight where the bulb face shows.
These bulbs are not dimmable, so they belong on an ordinary switch rather than a dimmer circuit. They run on mains voltage, 220 to 240V at 50/60Hz, which matches a standard household mains supply. Their energy class is D. Before you order, check that your fitting takes GU10 bulbs and runs from a plain on and off switch, and these two will be ready to go.

They have a GU10 cap with two pins and measure 5.4cm long and 5cm across, so they suit spotlights and downlights that take GU10 bulbs of that size.
Can I use them on a dimmer switch?
No. These bulbs are not dimmable, so they belong on an ordinary on and off switch rather than a dimmer circuit.
How warm is the light?
The colour temperature is 3000K, a warm white with a soft, slightly golden tone that suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways.
How bright is each bulb?
Each bulb gives 250 lumens, a gentle level that suits reading lamps, bedside lights and spotlights picking out a picture or a shelf.
Can these bulbs go in a bathroom?
