Description

The Lasmessa is a two light spotlight bar for the ceiling. A straight bar carries two adjustable spot heads in a black nickel finish, set off by bright chrome trim. The body is steel, and the whole fitting measures 39cm long, 7cm wide and 13.2cm high, so it sits neatly across a ceiling without crowding the room. Each head takes a GU10 lamp rated at 4.6W, giving 400lm per light. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and anywhere it could meet water.

Because the heads angle independently, one bar can do two jobs: one head washes light across a run of bookshelves while the other picks out a picture, a reading chair or a sideboard. That makes it a strong choice for living rooms, studies, hallways and bedrooms where a single central pendant leaves corners dull. It also suits any ceiling where you want directed light rather than a broad glow. The black nickel gives a darker, richer look than plain chrome, sitting comfortably with grey, charcoal and warm wood interiors.

There is no switch on the fitting itself, as it is controlled from your wall switch. As a wired-in mains light running at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, it should be installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. The packed weight is 1.044KG. For care, switch it off at the wall, let the heads cool, then wipe the steel body and chrome trim with a soft dry cloth to keep the shine. And when you rearrange the furniture or hang new pictures, simply re-angle the heads so the light follows the new layout.
