The Larissa is a 406mm diameter Tiffany table lamp with a handcrafted art glass shade built from hundreds of individually cut and copper-foiled glass pieces arranged in a floral pattern across red, pink, yellow, green and blue tones. The shade sits on a fluted vintage bronze base with a circular weighted plinth, and two brass pull chains hang from the shade rim to control the two E27 bulbs independently.

Designed for side tables, bedside tables and console tables in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways, the Larissa provides ambient light filtered through coloured glass rather than direct task lighting. The dual bulb setup allows partial or full illumination depending on whether one or both chains are pulled. The 584mm overall height suits standard bedside or side table positioning without the shade sitting too close to eye level when seated.

Each glass piece in the shade is hand-cut, wrapped in copper foil and soldered to neighbouring pieces using traditional Tiffany construction methods, which gives the shade a slight three-dimensional texture when viewed close. The floral motif includes stylised red blooms as the dominant element, balanced by smaller pink, yellow and blue accent pieces and green foliage sections. The vintage bronze finish on the base shows subtle darker patina in the recessed fluting, contrasting with the polished highlights on the raised ridges.

What bulbs does the Larissa take?

The lamp takes two standard E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair Tiffany shades with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K to complement the coloured glass tones.

How is the light controlled?

Two brass pull chains hang from the shade rim, one for each bulb. This allows you to run the lamp at half brightness with one bulb, or full brightness with both, without needing a dimmer switch.

Is each shade unique?

The glass pieces are hand-cut and hand-assembled, so minor variations in glass colour intensity, piece size and solder line thickness are normal between individual lamps. The overall pattern remains consistent across production.

Can the shade be cleaned?

Dust the shade with a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water on the glass sections, avoiding the solder lines and metal framework. Do not use spray cleaners or polishes on the glass or bronze.
