This wooden rocking horse is a decorative piece carved to sit prettily on a shelf, mantel or windowsill through the festive season. Standing 35cm tall and 33cm wide, it holds the classic silhouette of a rocking horse in profile, with a gently curved base and a mane picked out in the grain of the timber. The white finish is applied lightly so the wood shows through, giving each piece a slightly weathered, faded look rather than a flat coat of paint. No two will be exactly alike, which is part of the charm of a natural material.

As one of our Christmas decorations, it suits a range of styles. Set it among pine cones and fairy lights for a traditional scene, or let it stand alone on a hallway table for a quieter, pared-back look.
