This large green protea brings one of nature's most striking blooms into your home without any of the upkeep. The central flower head is built from layers of pointed petals that fan outward in the way a real protea opens, with a slightly waxy sheen and gentle colour shading that moves from a soft sage at the tips to a deeper green at the base. The bracts hold their shape well and the foliage running along the stem carries fine veining and a matte finish, so the overall effect reads as fresh cut greenery rather than a flat imitation.

Standing 73cm tall with a width and depth of 21cm, this artificial flower stem has real presence and works best where it can be seen from several angles. Pop a single stem into a tall glass vase for a pared-back look, or group two or three with paler blooms and trailing eucalyptus for a fuller arrangement.
