Description

This clear glass mug carries a camouflage print of the Lancaster bomber, seen from above with its four engines, broad wings and tailplane picked out in browns and tan. Blue and red roundels sit on each wing, and the name LANCASTER is printed in bold capitals beneath the aircraft. Because the glass is clear all round, the bomber seems to hang in the air on the side of the mug. From the far side you see it through the glass in soft grey, with its name reading back to front. It holds 10oz and stands 10cm tall, 11.2cm wide and 8cm deep, a comfortable everyday size with a generous rounded handle.

It is a mug for the tea or coffee you reach for every day, whether at the kitchen table, on a desk in the study or beside a favourite armchair, and the clear glass lets the colour of your drink show behind the bomber.
