Description

A square spotlight of the smaller sort, finished in plain white and measuring 93mm across the face. The funnel centre sets the lamp back within the body, so the light arrives as a defined pool below rather than glaring straight out at eye level. Lines are square and unfussy, with no trim detail to fight with the ceiling. The lampholder is already fitted, and the fitting is sized for a GU10 reflector lamp.

We fit these in kitchens, hallways and open-plan rooms where the ceiling needs light without anything hanging from it, and they earn their keep in a run along a worktop or down a corridor. The square face suits a room that already has square detail, whether that is tiling, cabinet doors or a boxed-in ceiling. Maximum lamp rating is 12W, which in LED terms is ample for general lighting in a domestic room, and a narrower reflector will pick out a splashback or a shelf. It will dim if you choose dimmable lamps and pair them with a compatible dimmer.

Construction is light and simple, double insulated, and the white finish keeps the fitting quiet against a painted ceiling. For care, wait until the power is off and the lamp has gone cold, then run a dry cloth over the face; nothing wet, and no cleaning sprays near the lamp opening. It carries a two year warranty.
