Description

The Kyoto is a 145cm floor lamp built around a cylindrical grey marble base, a slender gold-finished metal stem, and two white glass dome shades positioned top and bottom along the stem. An integrated 11W LED module inside the upper dome casts warm 3000K light downwards through the frosted glass, while the lower dome sits as a visual counterweight just above the brass collar separating stem from base.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and offices where a vertical accent is needed without occupying floor space, the Kyoto's 22cm diameter footprint sits comfortably beside a sofa, armchair or console table. The marble base weighs enough to stabilise the 145cm height without needing to be secured to the floor, and the gold metal finish pairs well with warm-toned interiors, brass fixtures and grey or neutral colour palettes.

The grey marble base shows natural mineral veining that varies between individual lamps depending on the section of stone used. The white glass domes diffuse the LED output evenly, preventing glare while maintaining enough brightness for ambient lighting in a 3-4m room. Is the Kyoto dimmable?

The integrated 11W LED module is not dimmable. The lamp operates at a fixed output on a standard on/off switch, typically located on the power cable near the base.

Does the marble base vary between lamps?

Yes. Each grey marble base is cut from natural stone, so the mineral veining, tonal variation and surface pattern differ between individual Kyoto lamps. This is a characteristic of the material, not a defect.

What does the lower glass dome do?

The lower dome is a design element rather than a functional light source. It balances the visual weight of the upper dome and softens the transition between the gold stem and the marble base.

Is it suitable for bedrooms?

Yes. The 11W output and 3000K colour temperature provide warm ambient light suitable for bedroom corners, reading positions beside an armchair, or as accent lighting next to a dresser or console table.
