Description

The Kromo is a 790mm semi-flush ceiling light with six carved glass blocks set into curved antique brass arms that radiate from a central ceiling mount. Each glass block is faceted to refract light through its edges and surfaces, creating multiple highlights and reflections across the ceiling and walls when the six G9 bulbs (sold separately) are lit. The antique brass finish on the metal frame shows a warm, aged patina that pairs with both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Designed for larger living rooms, dining rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Kromo provides ambient light distributed across six points. The 140mm projection from the ceiling keeps the fitting close to the plane of the ceiling while the 790mm diameter gives the fixture visual weight appropriate to rooms of 20-30 square metres. The semi-flush design avoids the drop of a chandelier while retaining the decorative impact of multiple light sources and reflective surfaces.

The six glass blocks are individually carved and polished, so each one refracts light at different angles depending on viewing position and the direction of the light source inside. The antique brass arms curve around each glass element in an asymmetric pattern, giving the fitting a sculptural quality that works as a ceiling feature even when not illuminated.
