Description

The Kos is a single-pendant light with an 11cm-diameter conical shade in matt white, suspended on a black fabric cable from a matching cylindrical ceiling canopy. The shade tapers from a 60mm-diameter collar at the top to a narrower 30mm aperture at the base, directing light downwards through an open bottom. The fitting takes one E27 bulb (sold separately) and the cable drop is adjustable between 400mm and 1500mm during installation.

Designed for installation over kitchen islands, breakfast bars, bedside tables and desks, the Kos works both as a single pendant in compact spaces and in multiples spaced 300-500mm apart over longer worktops. The 11cm diameter keeps each pendant compact enough to avoid visual clutter when grouped, while the open bottom aperture provides focused task light directly below. The black cable adds a contrasting detail against the matt white shade and canopy.

The matt white finish is a powder-coated metal that diffuses ambient light softly without the high reflectivity of gloss white, sitting comfortably in contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. At 0.8kg per pendant, the Kos is light enough to hang from standard UK ceiling roses without additional support brackets. The E27 socket accepts LED, halogen or filament bulbs, and dimmer compatibility depends on the specific bulb chosen.
