The Korbelle is a nine light ceiling light built on a square black plate with gently curved edges, from which nine slim square rods drop at different lengths. The rods come in a mix of dark brown and warm gold, and each one ends in a frosted plastic diffuser with a satin finish that softens the light. The fitting measures 42cm long, 42cm wide and 23.5cm high. Every rod carries its own integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

Because the rods hang at staggered heights, the light reads as a cluster rather than a flat panel, and it suits a living room, a dining room, a kitchen or a hallway. At 23.5cm high it sits fairly close to the ceiling, so it works well in rooms where a long pendant would crowd the space. Each of the nine lights gives 400 lumens at 3000K, a warm white that feels relaxed and welcoming in the evening. The fitting is dimmable too, so the same ceiling light can give you a brighter room for cooking or reading and a lower, gentler level for a quiet night. From underneath, the nine diffusers line up in a neat square grid.
