The Kolt is a 3-light semi-flush ceiling light in polished chrome with a dual-layer glass design on each shade: an inner sand-blasted glass cylinder diffuses the light from the G9 bulb, while an outer clear glass sleeve adds a second layer of refraction. The fitting sits 299mm from the ceiling and spans 384mm in diameter, with three curved arms radiating from a central polished chrome canopy.

Designed for bathrooms, en-suites and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.6m, the Kolt carries an IP44 rating for use in bathroom zones 2 and 3, protecting the electrical components from water splashes. The semi-flush mounting keeps the fitting close to the ceiling, maximising headroom while providing ambient light across the room. Each of the three arms holds a G9 bulb (included) at a similar height, distributing light evenly without a single dominant point source.

The fitting includes three 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K colour temperature, producing warm white light comparable to traditional halogen but at significantly lower running costs. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light and pairs comfortably with chrome taps, towel rails and mirror frames in bathroom installations. The dual-glass construction creates depth when viewed from different angles, as the clear outer layer refracts light through the frosted inner cylinder.

What does the IP44 rating mean for bathroom use?

IP44 protection means the fitting is safe from water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. Zone 2 is the area directly above a bath or shower to a height of 2.25m, while zone 3 is anywhere else in the bathroom outside zones 0, 1 and 2. Do not install in zones 0 or 1 (inside or directly above the bath/shower enclosure).

Are the bulbs included and replaceable?

Yes. The fitting includes three 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K. The bulbs are replaceable — twist the outer clear glass shade anti-clockwise to remove it, then pull the G9 bulb straight out of the socket. Replacement G9 LED bulbs are available separately.

What ceiling height does this suit?

The 299mm drop from ceiling to lowest point makes the Kolt suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above. In typical 2.4m bathrooms the fitting sits well clear of head height while providing even ambient light across the space.

Is it dimmable?

The included 3W LED G9 bulbs are not dimmable. If dimming is required, you would need to replace them with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchase.
