Description

The Kolt is a single-light bathroom wall light finished in polished chrome with a dual-layer glass shade: an inner cylinder of sand-blasted white glass sits inside a clear outer glass sleeve, creating a layered diffusion effect. The fitting is IP44 rated for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which means it can be installed beside mirrors, above vanity units, or on perimeter walls in bathrooms with typical shower or bath humidity levels.

The light ships with a 3W G9 LED bulb rated at 3000K warm white, which provides enough task lighting for bathroom mirror use without overwhelming a smaller bathroom space. The sand-blasted inner glass softens the LED output evenly, while the clear outer sleeve adds visual depth and reflects ambient light from other sources in the room. The polished chrome backplate and curved arm match standard chrome taps, towel rails and shower fittings.

The fitting measures 127mm wide, 232mm tall, and projects 186mm from the wall — compact enough for installation in narrow bathrooms or beside mirrors without interfering with head clearance. The chrome finish is applied over a metal frame, providing corrosion resistance in humid conditions. What bathroom zones can the Kolt be installed in?

The IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3. This means beside mirrors, above vanity units, or on perimeter walls outside the immediate shower or bath enclosure. It is not suitable for zone 0 or 1, which are inside or directly above a bath or shower tray.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The fitting includes a 3W G9 LED bulb rated at 3000K warm white. Replacement G9 bulbs are widely available if needed in future.

Can the bulb be replaced if it fails?

Yes. The G9 bulb is a standard replaceable capsule bulb. Remove the outer clear glass shade to access the bulb holder and replace with another G9 LED up to 3W.

What is the projection from the wall?

The fitting projects 186mm from the wall when installed. This is typical for bathroom wall lights and allows clearance for the dual-layer glass shade while keeping the fitting close enough to the wall for narrow bathrooms or beside-mirror installation.
