Description

The Knot is a 190mm x 240mm LED wall light built around a continuous looped form that appears to fold through itself, finished in polished chrome with a frosted white internal diffuser. The integrated 12W LED sits within the loop and emits 840lm of 3000K warm white light through the translucent white acrylic, which softens the beam to a 120° spread across the wall surface.

Designed by Santiago Sevillano for Mantra, the fitting works in living rooms, hallways and dining rooms where wall-mounted accent lighting is needed without the bulk of a traditional wall bracket. The 170mm projection from the wall gives the loop depth and allows light to spill both forward and backward, creating a halo effect on the wall behind. The polished chrome outer surface reflects ambient room light during the day, giving the fitting a sculptural presence even when switched off.

The body is moulded from polycarbonate and fibreglass, keeping the weight to 0.55kg despite the substantial appearance of the loop form. The chrome plating is applied over the polycarbonate shell, giving a mirror-like finish that picks up reflections from adjacent surfaces. The LED is non-dimmable and rated for 220-240V UK mains, with a 3-year warranty covering the fitting and integrated light source.
