Description

The Knot is a 480mm semi-flush ceiling light built from three interlocking frosted white loops that curve around a central white canopy. Each loop houses an integrated LED strip, combining to deliver 36W and 2520 lumens of 2800K warm white light. The 120° beam angle spreads light evenly across the room rather than projecting a focused beam.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Knot sits 190mm below the ceiling and works as primary lighting in bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices and medium-sized living rooms up to approximately 16-18m². The interlocking loop design creates different visual profiles depending on viewing angle, making the fitting less static than a conventional flush ceiling light. The frosted diffusers soften the LED output, removing glare and giving an even ambient wash.

The white acrylic construction keeps the weight to 1.2kg, making it suitable for standard plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings. The three loops are fixed in position during manufacture and do not rotate or articulate. The fitting is not dimmable and connects directly to 230V mains via a standard ceiling rose. The white finish pairs comfortably with neutral and light-toned interiors, and the sculptural form adds visual interest to rooms where a simple flush disc would feel too plain.

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches and connects directly to standard 230V mains wiring.

Can it be fitted to a low ceiling?
