The Knot II is a 300mm chrome wall light with an integrated 12W LED built into a sculptural loop of opal white acrylic, mounted on a polished chrome circular backplate. The loop forms a continuous curve that channels warm 3000K light through the full 360-degree arc of the acrylic, creating ambient wash light across walls and ceilings rather than a focused beam. A built-in rocker switch on the backplate allows the light to be controlled at the fitting itself without needing a separate wall switch.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, landing areas and hotel rooms where a wall-mounted ambient light with direct on-off control is needed, the Knot II provides 900 lumens of diffused warm white light from a single fitting. The 190mm projection from the wall means the loop stands clear of the surface, distributing light evenly rather than creating a bright spot directly behind the fitting. The built-in switch makes it particularly suited to bedside positions where reaching a wall switch across the room is inconvenient, or hallway positions where lighting a corridor without walking to a separate switch improves usability.

The opal white acrylic diffuses the LED completely, hiding the individual diodes and presenting as a continuous glow when lit. The polished chrome finish on the backplate reflects surrounding light and pairs with modern, contemporary and minimalist interiors that use chrome taps, handles and fixtures elsewhere in the space. At 0.75kg the fitting mounts to standard plasterboard with appropriate wall plugs, though solid walls or timber studs give more secure fixing for the cantilevered projection.

Is the Knot II dimmable?

No. The integrated 12W LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 900lm output when switched on. The built-in rocker switch provides on-off control only.

Can it be used as a bedside light?

Yes. The built-in switch on the backplate makes it well-suited to bedside mounting, allowing the light to be controlled without reaching across to a wall switch. The 3000K warm white output provides comfortable reading light without the harshness of cool white LEDs.

What does the 190mm projection mean for installation?

How is the acrylic loop cleaned?

Wipe the opal acrylic with a dry microfibre cloth when the fitting is switched off and cool. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the acrylic or the chrome backplate as moisture can seep into the fitting.
