Description

The Knot is a 12W LED wall light with an integrated on-wall switch, designed by Santiago Sevillano. The fitting forms a continuous loop of polished chrome-finished metal that curves around a frosted white polycarbonate diffuser, creating an organic ribbon shape that sits 170mm proud of the wall. The integrated LED produces 840 lumens at 3000K warm white, casting soft ambient light through the frosted section while the chrome surface reflects light back into the room.

Designed for bedside positions, reading corners and lounge wall placement where accessible switching matters, the Knot removes the need to reach for a bedside table lamp or walk to a door switch. The switch sits on the fitting itself, typically positioned within arm's reach when the light is mounted at 1.2-1.5m height beside a bed or chair. The 240mm height and 190mm width give the fitting a compact footprint that suits hallways, small bedrooms and alcoves without dominating the wall.

No. The integrated LED runs at fixed 12W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The on-wall switch provides on/off control only.

What height should this be mounted at?

For bedside use, 1.2-1.5m from the floor puts the switch within arm's reach from a bed or chair. For reading positions, slightly higher mounting at 1.4-1.6m directs light over the shoulder without glare.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

How is the chrome maintained?
