Description

This Knightsbridge chrome bezel is an 85mm diameter pressed steel trim ring designed to fit over IP65-rated fire-rated LED downlights. The bezel projects just 2.6mm from the ceiling surface and clips directly onto compatible Knightsbridge downlight housings without tools, covering the edge gap between the downlight body and the ceiling cutout.

Designed for outdoor and wet-environment installations where the downlight body carries an IP65 rating, the chrome bezel provides a finished edge detail around soffit-mounted downlights, porch lights and bathroom ceiling lights. The bezel itself does not carry an IP rating — the IP65 protection comes from the downlight housing underneath. The chrome finish adds a high-gloss metallic accent that pairs with polished chrome door furniture, tapware and contemporary exterior fittings.

The bezel fits the following Knightsbridge fire-rated LED downlights: 6W 3000K (warm white), 5W 3000K, and 6W 4000K (cool white) models in white housings. The pressed steel construction is lighter than cast metal bezels and the tool-free clip fitting allows the bezel to be removed for redecorating or lamp maintenance without affecting the downlight's fire rating or IP seal.

Which downlights does this bezel fit?

The bezel is compatible with Knightsbridge fire-rated LED downlights in the RW series: 6W 3000K, 5W 3000K, and 6W 4000K models with white housings. Check the Specification tab or product datasheets to confirm compatibility before ordering.

Does the bezel carry an IP65 rating?

No. The IP65 rating is provided by the downlight housing underneath. The bezel is a trim ring that covers the ceiling cutout edge — it does not contribute to the weatherproofing. Only use this bezel with downlights already rated IP65 for outdoor or wet-room installation.

Is the bezel removable once fitted?

Yes. The bezel clips onto the downlight housing without tools and can be removed for ceiling redecorating or lamp maintenance. Removing the bezel does not affect the downlight's fire rating or IP seal provided the downlight body is not disturbed.
