Description

The Knightsbridge LWS4G is a 200mm square LED brick light built from grey powder-coated die-cast aluminium with an integrated 5W LED module producing 230 lumens at 3500K. The light source sits behind a horizontal clear lens positioned in the lower half of the square faceplate, directing a downward wash of warm white light across the surface below whilst minimising upward glare.

Designed for outdoor pathway marking, step illumination and low-level wall accents, the IP44 rating protects the fitting against solid objects above 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for external walls, garden boundaries and patio zones. The surface-mount design requires a standard outdoor-rated electrical back box, with cable entry from the rear. The 28mm projection from the wall keeps the profile low enough to avoid snagging on clothing or garden equipment.

The 170-degree beam angle spreads light across approximately 2m of horizontal ground at typical mounting heights of 300-600mm, providing adequate visibility for pathways and steps without creating harsh pooling or defined edges. The Class II double-insulated construction removes the need for an earth connection, simplifying installation where earth is not readily available. The AC LED module runs directly from 230V mains without requiring a separate driver, and the L70B50 rating of 60,000 hours suggests the LED will retain at least 70% of its initial output after approximately seven years of continuous operation.

No. The 5W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The L70B50 rating of 60,000 hours suggests the LED will retain at least 70% brightness after approximately seven years of continuous use before requiring replacement of the entire fitting.

IP44. The fitting is protected against solid objects above 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for external walls, covered patios and garden installations. It is not submersible and should not be installed in zones subject to direct water jets or flooding.
