Description

The Klampenborg is an outdoor wall light with an integrated PIR motion sensor, built from 304-grade stainless steel and finished in powder-coated matt black. The swan-neck arm extends 420mm from the wall, suspending a clear glass shade beneath a downward-angled metal hood. An E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the glass, visible through the clear shade when lit.

Designed for front doors, porch areas, garage entrances and pathways where security lighting is needed, the PIR sensor detects movement within a typical 8-10m range and switches the light on automatically for a preset duration before switching off again. This reduces energy use compared to dusk-to-dawn photocell fixtures and provides illumination only when required. The IP44 rating protects the internals from rain and splashes, making the fitting suitable for any exterior wall with overhead shelter or full exposure.

The 304-grade stainless steel frame resists corrosion in coastal and exposed environments where cheaper mild steel or aluminium fittings would pit and corrode within a few seasons. The powder-coated black finish adds a protective layer over the stainless substrate and gives a low-sheen matt appearance that pairs with traditional brick, rendered walls and timber cladding.
