Description

The Kitesurf is a 1.52m LED floor lamp built around a slim vertical bar housing an integrated 24W LED strip, finished in white with a frosted white diffuser. The LED emits 900 lumens at 3000K warm white through the frosted diffuser, which spreads the light across a 120° beam angle to provide ambient illumination without direct glare.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and home offices where ambient light is needed without occupying floor space with a traditional shade-and-base lamp, the Kitesurf's vertical form occupies a 280mm diameter circular base and projects light upward and outward along its height. The hollow centre of the circular base reduces visual weight while maintaining stability for the 3kg fitting. The frosted diffuser softens the LED output so the lamp can be placed next to seating or in corners without harsh bright spots.

The white finish on both the bar and the frosted diffuser keeps the lamp visually neutral in contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors. The 24W consumption provides 900 lumens output, roughly equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb but distributed along the lamp's height rather than from a single point source. The 100-240V input makes the lamp compatible with UK mains voltage and usable internationally without conversion.

The Kitesurf is supplied by Mantra, a Spanish lighting manufacturer. The integrated LED is non-replaceable, so the lamp's functional lifespan is tied to the LED module itself. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and component failure.
