Description

The Kitesurf is a 25cm circular wall light with a matt white powder-coated aluminium body and a half-panel insert that divides the circle horizontally. An integrated 8W LED module behind the outer ring casts 640 lumens of 3000K warm white light around the perimeter, creating a halo effect that lights the wall surface rather than projecting directly into the room.

Designed as ambient accent lighting for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living room alcoves, the Kitesurf provides soft illumination without glare. The 55mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact enough for narrower corridors, while the 25cm diameter gives enough presence to anchor a feature wall or sit above a console table. The half-panel insert acts as a visual focal point when the light is off and casts a subtle shadow when lit, adding depth to the circular form.

The matt white finish reflects wall tones in white and off-white interiors, allowing the fitting to recede visually while the light output remains clear. The aluminium body keeps the weight at 0.5kg, light enough to mount on plasterboard walls with standard fixings. The non-dimmable LED operates on 220-240V mains and requires no separate driver box. All electronics are housed within the body.

Is the Kitesurf dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed output of 640 lumens and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What type of light does it produce?

The LED creates a halo glow around the outer ring, lighting the wall surface rather than projecting forward into the room. This produces ambient accent lighting suitable for hallways, bedrooms and alcoves where soft background illumination is needed.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The specification table does not list an IP rating, so the Kitesurf is not rated for bathroom zones where moisture protection is required. It suits dry interior locations only.

How is it fitted?
