Description

The Kinsale is a six-sided outdoor chain pendant lantern with a black polymer body and clear polycarbonate panels, suspended on an adjustable 310mm chain. The lantern houses a single E27 bulb fitting (up to 60W, bulb sold separately) and carries an IP44 rating for protection against splashing water from any direction.

Designed for covered outdoor spaces such as porches, verandas, pergolas and open-sided garden rooms, the pendant hangs with a minimum drop of 635mm and maximum drop of 730mm, allowing height adjustment during installation to suit the ceiling height. The polycarbonate panels diffuse light evenly while the six-sided lantern profile casts directional light downward and through the sides.

The black polymer construction resists corrosion and impact damage better than traditional metal lanterns, making the Kinsale particularly suited to coastal environments or areas with high moisture exposure. The polymer body will not rust, flake or require repainting over time. The classic lantern proportions — 230mm wide by 520mm tall — suit both period and contemporary property styles, and the black finish pairs neutrally with most external colour schemes.
