Kimitsu is a handmade ornament and candle holder in a nickel finish, shaped as a tall oval of openwork aluminium. The metal forms a branching, coral-like lattice with irregular openings that run from the round base all the way to the open rim, so it reads as a piece of sculpture even with no candle lit. Low inside sits a glass holder, ready to take a candle of your choosing. It stands 34.5cm tall and measures 20.5cm in diameter, a size that holds its own on a sideboard or a broad shelf without crowding it.

We see it most at home on a dining table, a mantelpiece or a hallway console, anywhere a single decorative piece can carry the space. The silvery nickel tone sits comfortably with greys, whites and soft coastal blues, and the coral pattern suits anyone drawn to natural, organic shapes rather than hard lines.
