Description

The Kilda is a 9.5cm cylindrical pendant light with a white matte finish housing an integrated 10W LED that delivers 800 lumens at 3000K. The cylinder is split horizontally at the equator, with the upper and lower hemispheres meeting in a narrow gap that allows light to escape in a 360-degree band around the fitting as well as downward from the base.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas, hallways and commercial interiors where compact pendant lighting is needed without overwhelming the space, the Kilda works well as a single fitting over a breakfast bar or grouped in multiples over a counter or along a corridor. The adjustable cable allows the pendant to drop anywhere from 210mm to 2500mm, making it adaptable to standard ceiling heights or double-height spaces. The white cylindrical canopy at the ceiling rose conceals the cable adjustment mechanism and pairs with the shade finish.

The white finish is a smooth matte that resists fingerprints and provides a neutral backdrop for the warm light output. At 3000K the LED casts a warm white tone comparable to halogen or incandescent, suitable for residential settings where cooler daylight temperatures would feel clinical. The 800 lumens is equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb, providing enough light for task areas without needing supplementary fittings. How is the drop length adjusted?

The cable passes through the ceiling canopy and can be shortened or lengthened during installation. Once the desired drop is set, the excess cable is secured inside the canopy. The drop can be adjusted from 210mm to 2500mm.
