Description

The Kichler round ceiling canopy is a 305mm-diameter metal plate with three cable exit points, designed to anchor a cluster of three pendant lights from a single ceiling rose. The antique pewter finish is a warm grey-silver tone with subtle brushed texture, distinct from polished chrome or brushed nickel. The canopy measures 127mm in height, housing the terminal block and cable routing for three separate pendant feeds.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where a single ceiling point needs to distribute three pendant lights in a triangular or linear arrangement, the canopy replaces the individual ceiling roses each pendant would otherwise require. The three cable exits are positioned symmetrically around the canopy's circumference, allowing the pendants to hang evenly spaced. The plate conceals the wiring connection and provides a unified visual base where three separate cables meet.

The metal construction supports the combined weight of three pendant fittings without sagging, and the antique pewter finish pairs comfortably with both warm brass and cool chrome pendant hardware. The 305mm diameter is large enough to balance a three-pendant cluster over a 1.2-1.5m dining table or kitchen island without looking undersized, while remaining compact enough not to dominate a 2.4m ceiling in a typical residential room. Installation requires access to a single ceiling point with adequate electrical capacity for all three pendants combined.

Frequently Asked

How many pendants does this canopy support?

The canopy has three cable exit points and is designed to support three mini-pendant lights. Each pendant connects to its own cable feed inside the canopy housing.

What's the difference between antique pewter and silver finishes?

Antique pewter is a warm grey-silver with a brushed, slightly aged appearance. It sits between polished chrome (which is cooler and more reflective) and brushed nickel (which has more yellow undertones). The finish in the image shows this warmer grey tone.

Does this work with standard UK ceiling roses?

Yes. The canopy is designed to mount over a standard UK ceiling rose, with the three pendant cables routed through the canopy and connected to the mains feed inside the 127mm housing. A qualified electrician should verify the ceiling point can handle the combined load of all three pendants.

Can this be used with pendants of different lengths?

Yes. The canopy itself only provides the ceiling anchor point — the drop length of each pendant is determined by its individual cable or chain length. Pendants can be hung at different heights from the same canopy to create a staggered cluster effect.
