Description

The Keops is a 49cm diameter telescopic semi-flush ceiling light with four G9 bulb fittings arranged on U-shaped satin nickel arms that extend symmetrically from a central ceiling mount. Each arm supports a stepped pyramid glass shade combining frosted and clear layers, creating depth as light diffuses through the frosted core and reflects off the clear outer facets.

The telescopic suspension adjusts between 490mm and 770mm drop during installation, allowing the fitting to work as a semi-flush in rooms with 2.4m ceilings or as a low pendant over dining tables or kitchen islands in taller spaces. The 490mm diameter suits rooms of 12-16m² without overwhelming the ceiling plane. The satin nickel finish provides a mid-tone metallic that pairs with both warm and cool colour schemes.

Each stepped glass shade diffuses light evenly outward and downward, creating ambient room lighting rather than focused task light. Is the Keops dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. The fitting itself supports dimming but requires dimmable bulbs to function correctly.

How is the drop adjusted?

The telescopic suspension adjusts on installation by raising or lowering the canopy along the cable and rod assembly. Once set to the desired drop (between 490mm and 770mm), the canopy locks in place at the ceiling. Adjustment is not designed for regular use after installation.

What ceiling height does it suit?

At the minimum 490mm drop, the Keops works as a semi-flush in rooms with 2.4m ceilings, leaving approximately 1.9m clearance below. At the maximum 770mm drop, it suits rooms of 2.7m or higher, or can be positioned over a dining table where head clearance is less critical.
