Description

The Kenzie is a 270mm-wide crystal wall light with a polished chrome backplate, two G9 bulb holders mounted within a rectangular chrome frame, and an integrated on/off switch. Large teardrop-shaped Asfour crystal pendalogues hang from a sinuous chrome arch above the frame, while long hexagonal crystal drops cascade downward, turning the fitting into a decorative centrepiece when lit. The switch is mounted directly on the backplate, removing the need for a separate pull cord or remote switch.

Designed for bedrooms as switched reading lights flanking a bed, or for hallways and living rooms where wall-mounted lighting adds interest without requiring ceiling space, the Kenzie combines functional switched light with decorative presence. The 200mm projection from the wall places the crystals forward enough to catch and refract light across the room. Each G9 socket accepts bulbs up to 33W (sold separately), and the fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LED or halogen bulbs and a compatible dimmer.

The Asfour crystals are cut with multiple facets that refract light into spectrum colours when the bulbs are on, and catch ambient daylight when the fitting is off. The polished chrome finish reflects the crystal sparkle and pairs cleanly with modern and transitional interiors. The fitting weighs 1.6kg fully assembled, requiring a secure fixing into masonry or onto a timber stud for safe wall mounting.

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and wired to a compatible dimmer switch. The integrated on/off switch on the backplate controls power, while a separate wall dimmer controls brightness.

Where does the switch sit?

The on/off switch is integrated onto the polished chrome backplate. This removes the need for a separate pull cord or remote control, but the light must still be wired to a mains circuit during installation.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome frame or electrical components.
