Faceted crystal pendants in varied shapes hang from the frame in overlapping tiers, forming a domed profile that sits 24.5cm below the ceiling. Each crystal refracts and scatters light when the bulbs are lit, creating surface reflections and small prismatic highlights across walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining rooms, hallways and living rooms with standard ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m, the Karolina provides central ambient light without the drop of a traditional chandelier. The flush-mount configuration means the fitting sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging on a chain or rod, making it suitable for rooms where a deeper pendant would feel out of proportion. The 51cm diameter gives visual presence above a table or in a 4m x 4m room without dominating smaller spaces.

The polished gold finish on the metal frame pairs with warm white bulbs to create a cohesive warm-toned light scheme, while the crystal droplets add texture and formality. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only — bathrooms and outdoor covered areas require higher IP ratings. What bulbs does the Karolina take?

The fitting takes nine E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to match the gold frame tone.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs used and the dimmer switch installed. LED bulbs marked as dimmable will work with compatible trailing-edge dimmers, but always check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 24.5cm projection from ceiling to base suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the fitting may feel close overhead, particularly in hallways or circulation spaces.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Turn off power at the mains before cleaning. Wipe each crystal drop with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the metal frame or getting water into the bulb fittings.
