Designed as bedside lighting, reading light beside an armchair, or decorative accent on side tables and console tables in living rooms and hallways, the Kami casts warm amber-toned light through the coloured glass when lit. The dual-bulb configuration allows one or both bulbs to be lit depending on the task — one for ambient background light, both for reading or detailed work. Each shade varies slightly in colour intensity and pattern placement due to the handcrafted nature of the leaded glasswork.

The vintage bronze finish on the base provides a darker anchor to the warm glass tones above, creating contrast rather than competing with the shade. The reeded column detail and stepped circular base give the fitting Art Nouveau period character without reproducing a specific historical design. Can each bulb be controlled separately?

Is the glass pattern identical on every lamp?

No. Each Tiffany-style shade is handcrafted using individually cut pieces of art glass soldered into a leaded frame. The colour intensity, glass grain and exact placement of pattern elements vary between individual lamps.

How is the shade cleaned?

Dust the shade gently with a soft dry cloth or brush. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp microfibre cloth can be used on the glass, but avoid soaking the metal solder joins. Do not use chemical cleaners or spray polishes on Tiffany glass.
