Description

The Kalli is a single-light wall fitting with a multi-faceted pressed crystal glass shade mounted on a polished chrome backplate. The thick crystal glass is cut with angular facets that refract and scatter light as it passes through, creating a prismatic effect across adjacent surfaces. An integrated 3W LED G9 bulb sits inside the shade, casting warm 3000K light through the crystal.

Designed for bathrooms, powder rooms and vanity areas, the Kalli carries an IP44 rating that protects against water splashes, making it suitable for zones 2 and 3 in UK bathroom installations. The 165mm projection from the wall positions the light source forward of the backplate, directing most of the output into the room rather than washing the wall behind. The polished chrome finish resists tarnishing in humid environments and pairs cleanly with chrome taps, showerheads and other bathroom fittings.

The rectangular backplate measures 127mm wide by 155mm tall, giving the fitting enough visual presence to work as a single over-mirror light in a compact bathroom or as one of a pair flanking a larger mirror. The crystal shade is press-moulded rather than hand-cut, which gives consistent facet geometry across all units while keeping the fitting at a mid-range price point. The integrated LED eliminates the need to source replacement bulbs and delivers approximately 240 lumens output at 3W draw.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

Yes. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction, making the Kalli suitable for zones 2 and 3 in UK bathroom installations. It should not be installed in zones 0 or 1 (inside or directly above a shower or bath enclosure).

Is the LED bulb replaceable?

The LED G9 bulb is integrated and designed to last the lifetime of the fitting (typically 15,000-20,000 hours). If the LED fails within the 2-year guarantee period, contact Feiss or Niori for support.

How is the crystal shade cleaned?

Switch off the light and allow it to cool. Wipe the crystal glass with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust and water marks. For stubborn residue, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid household glass cleaners as they can leave streaks on faceted crystal.

Can it be installed as a pair over a mirror?

Yes. The compact 127mm width and symmetrical design make the Kalli well-suited to paired installation flanking a bathroom mirror. Space them 600-900mm apart depending on mirror width for balanced light distribution.
