The Job is a table lamp with a teardrop-shaped ceramic base finished in a polished bronze metallic glaze, topped with a brown faux silk hard-backed cylinder shade. The base stands approximately 460mm tall before the shade is added, giving the assembled lamp a total height around 730mm. The shade measures approximately 460mm in diameter at the bottom rim and is lined with gold card that reflects the light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately) back through the brown silk, casting warm ambient light.

Designed for side tables, console tables and nightstands, the Job suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where table-height ambient light is needed. The bronze metallic glaze on the ceramic base has a high-gloss finish that picks up light from windows and overhead fittings during the day, while the brown shade softens direct light from the bulb at night. The teardrop profile of the base keeps the footprint compact at around 180mm diameter while the bulbous lower section gives the lamp stability on uneven surfaces.

The brown faux silk shade is stretched over a rigid frame and the gold card lining prevents the bulb from being visible through the fabric when lit. The combination of bronze metallic and brown works in interiors with warm wood tones, brass accents, and both contemporary and traditional furniture.
