The Jelvine is a pendant light with a faceted dome shade in steel, finished black on the outside and gold on the inside. The shade is 30cm across and the light is 110cm tall overall. It hangs on a black cable from a matching black ceiling rose and takes one E27 bulb of up to 60W, so the bulb and the tone of light are your choice; the bulb is not included. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms, away from bathrooms and the garden.

A black and gold pendant light suits a dining table, a kitchen island, a hallway or a bedroom, anywhere one hanging light sits at the centre of the room. The faceted surface breaks the dome into crisp planes that catch the light from every side, and the gold interior gives a warm shimmer around the open base when the bulb is lit.
