Description

The Jasper is a 12-light semi-flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome cylindrical frame, from which twelve pointed glass rods extend outward in a radial burst. Each glass rod is tipped with a precision-cut crystal prism that hangs on a short link, and each houses a 20W G4 halogen bulb (twelve bulbs included). The combined glass, crystal and chrome construction measures 400mm in both diameter and drop from ceiling to bottom edge.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Jasper works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The semi-flush mount sits close enough to the ceiling to suit standard room heights while the 400mm projection gives the fixture presence without dominating the space. The twelve bulbs distribute 240W of total output across the room when all are lit, and the crystal prisms scatter additional reflected light across walls and ceilings.

The pointed glass rods alternate between clear and smoked tones in the image, creating contrast against the reflective chrome base and lower bowl. Each crystal prism is faceted to catch and refract light at different angles depending on viewing position, so the fixture looks different from various points in the room. The polished chrome finish pairs with both contemporary interiors and traditional settings that use metallics as accent detail. At 6.2kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings and a joist or reinforced plasterboard anchor.

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe each crystal prism gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or getting moisture into the bulb holders.
