The Janarne is a solar ball spike light for the garden: a white plastic globe sits on a black plastic collar, carried on a slim black stem that ends in a pointed ground stake. It stands 40cm tall and measures 20cm in diameter, so it reads clearly in a border without towering over low planting. The light source is an integrated solar LED of 0.2W with a colour temperature of 3000K, giving a warm glow through the opal globe. Rated IP44, it is protected from splashing water, so it can live outdoors in a bed, a border or beside a path.

Because it runs on sunlight rather than mains power, it suits anyone who wants light in the garden without any wiring.
