Description

The Jack-Stone is an 8W LED wall light built around two asymmetric pebble-shaped forms in stainless steel, one finished in matt gold, the other in polished glossy gold. The smaller front disc measures approximately 270mm high by 150mm wide, while the larger rear disc sits at 360mm wide, creating depth and layered shadow when the integrated 3000K LED is switched on. The light output reflects off the glossy inner surface and diffuses around the matt outer edge.

Designed for accent and wash lighting in hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and hotel corridors, the Jack-Stone mounts flush to the wall on a concealed back plate with a 74mm projection. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor spaces only — it cannot be used in bathrooms or outdoor locations. The dual-finish gold creates visual contrast that works in both contemporary and mid-century settings, pairing with warm-toned woods, brass hardware and neutral textiles.

The stainless steel construction gives the fitting a solid presence without excessive weight, and the powder-coated matt sections resist fingerprints and smudging better than all-polished finishes. The 8W LED runs at 220-240V AC and produces warm white 3000K light, comparable to a traditional 40-50W halogen in output but with significantly lower running cost and heat generation. No. The 8W LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced by the user. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to around 10-15 years of typical residential use.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture or water ingress. It must be used in dry indoor spaces only — living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and corridors away from direct water contact.

How is the light directed?

The LED sits behind the front pebble-shaped disc and reflects off the polished inner surface, creating both direct light forward and wash light around the edges where the two discs overlap. The matt gold outer sections diffuse the spill to reduce glare.
