The Isla is a 640mm ceramic table lamp built around a double-gourd white glazed base, topped with a 360mm yellow fabric drum shade and polished chrome fittings at the neck and foot. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), which sits behind the yellow shade and casts a warm-toned light filtered through the fabric.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables in hallways and side tables in living rooms, the Isla provides task and accent lighting in spaces where a pop of colour supports the interior scheme. The 640mm height positions the shade at typical reading height when placed on a bedside table, while the 360mm diameter footprint fits standard-depth furniture without overhang. The Isla takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient or bedside lighting.

Can the shade be replaced if damaged?

The yellow fabric shade is a laminated drum fitted to the lamp neck with a standard spider fitting. Replacement shades with the same 360mm diameter and compatible spider can be sourced separately, though Elstead does not supply individual replacement shades for this model.

Is the ceramic base heavy enough to be stable?

Yes. The double-gourd ceramic base provides sufficient mass to prevent the lamp from tipping during normal use, including when the cable is pulled during repositioning. The base sits flat on furniture without rocking.

What colour temperature works best with the yellow shade?

Warm-white bulbs between 2700K-3000K pair well with the yellow fabric, producing a golden-toned glow. Cooler daylight bulbs (4000K+) will appear greenish when filtered through yellow fabric and are generally less flattering in residential settings.
