Description

The Irving is a wall light with a black metal frame, amber-tinted glass dome and brass-plated socket housing and adjustment knob. The fitting mounts on a 100mm diameter backplate and extends 25cm from the wall, with the glass dome measuring 20cm wide by 27cm tall. An E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the dome, and the amber tint warms the light cast through the glass.

Designed for hallways, bedside positions and living room accent lighting, the Irving provides ambient rather than task light due to the diffusing effect of the amber glass. The wall light suits rooms with neutral or warm colour palettes where the combination of black metalwork and amber glass adds depth without competing with existing furniture. The brass-plated fittings on the socket housing and the adjustment knob at the top of the dome add a mid-century industrial accent to the otherwise minimal frame.

The black metal finish is powder-coated to resist marks and fingerprints, and the amber glass is tinted during manufacture rather than surface-coated, so the colour will not fade or peel over time. No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor covered areas.
