Description

The Irias is a 50cm industrial table lamp combining a matt black metal frame with satin copper joint details and an adjustable conical shade. The shade pivots at the copper-finished joint connecting it to the vertical stem, allowing the lamp head to be angled for task lighting on a desk surface, reading position, or directed up onto a wall. The matt black finish extends across the shade exterior, stem and circular weighted base.

Designed as directional task lighting, the Irias suits home office desks, writing desks in study spaces, and bedside reading positions where adjustable light control matters more than ambient room illumination. The 30cm width and 18cm depth give it a small footprint suitable for narrow desks and shelf edges, while the 1.57kg weight keeps it stable without needing to be clamped or fixed. The shade interior is finished in white to maximise light reflection and output.

The satin copper accents appear at the pivot joint, the shade collar and the inline cable switch, creating contrast points against the black frame without dominating the overall appearance. The lamp is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only and carries Class 2 double-insulation, so it does not require an earth connection during installation. It accepts bulbs up to 20W on 110-220V supply, with an E27 fitting for standard LED or halogen bulbs (bulb not included).

The lamp uses an E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for desk or reading use.

Yes. The shade pivots at the satin copper joint where it connects to the vertical stem, allowing the light to be directed towards a desk surface, reading position, or angled up onto a wall.

Is it suitable for bedside use?

The Irias works as a bedside reading lamp if there is sufficient surface space for the 30cm x 18cm base footprint. The inline cable switch allows the lamp to be turned on and off without reaching the wall socket.
