Description

A compact track head finished in white, built around an integrated LED rather than a replaceable lamp. The beam is narrow and well controlled, so light lands where you aim it instead of spilling across the surrounding wall. Output is warm white at 3000K, a tone that sits kindly on timber, plaster and paint. The body is 23cm end to end, reading as a neat cylinder on the track rather than a heavy block.

We reach for heads like this where a room needs punch in particular places: pictures and prints, a run of open shelving, the working end of a kitchen island, stock on display in a shop. The tight beam is the point, so plan positions and aim each head rather than expecting it to wash a whole ceiling. It draws 35W and is not dimmable, so it suits a circuit you are content to switch at full output. We would use it in shops, studios and hallways far more often than in a bedroom.

The driver sits inside the housing and the fitting is double insulated, so no separate control gear is needed alongside it. Cleaning: isolate the circuit, let the head cool, then wipe the body and lens with a dry cloth, keeping polish and sprays away from the optic. It carries a five year warranty. We stock the same head in black, and a cooler white version is offered in both finishes for worktops and artwork that want a crisper light. A honeycomb cover in black is also available for softening glare where heads sit in a sight line. The LED is integrated, so there is no lamp to buy.
