Description

The Knightsbridge JB0013 is a 3-pole IP68 weatherproof inline connector rated for 24A at 250V/450V, designed for joining or extending outdoor and underwater electrical cables without tools. The connector uses lever terminals rather than screw terminals, allowing cables to be inserted and locked by hand without needing a screwdriver or stripping tool. Two M22 cable glands at each end accept cable diameters from 5mm to 14mm, providing strain relief and environmental sealing.

Designed for outdoor lighting circuits, garden power distribution, pond and water feature wiring, and underground cable runs, the connector pairs an IP68 rating with a flame-retardant PA66 body and a silicon sealing gasket. The IP68 certification means the connector can be submerged in water beyond 1m depth for extended periods without moisture ingress. The silver-plated stainless steel lever terminals maintain conductivity in damp environments and resist corrosion better than bare brass terminals.

The connector measures 122mm long and 25mm in diameter, with a cylindrical black body that sits inline with the cable run rather than requiring a separate junction box.
