Description

The Inoa is a 1200mm linear suspension light carrying seven glass globe shades on a matt black metal bar with satin brass accents. The seven globes alternate between amber and smoke grey glass, each housing a G9 lampholder behind the tinted sphere. The bar itself measures 120cm wide and 34cm deep, creating a horizontal plane that works over kitchen islands, dining tables and bar counters where the length of the fitting defines the eating or working zone beneath it.

Designed for installation heights between 500mm and 2000mm above floor level, the suspension cables are adjustable on fitting, allowing the globes to hang 600-800mm above a worktop or dining surface in standard-height rooms. The IP20 rating limits the Inoa to dry indoor locations — dining rooms, open-plan living spaces, and kitchen islands away from sink splash zones. Each of the seven G9 lampholders accepts bulbs up to 10W (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and brightness depending on bulb choice.

The mix of amber and smoke grey glass creates tonal variation when the lights are on — the amber globes cast a warm glow, while the smoke grey diffuses light more subtly and adds visual weight to the composition. The matt black bar finish absorbs rather than reflects ambient light, keeping attention on the glass spheres themselves. The satin brass detailing at each globe mounting point introduces a metallic accent without the high reflectivity of polished brass. At 2.89kg, the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or suitable anchor points rather than plasterboard alone.

The 120cm bar length suits dining tables or kitchen islands between 140cm and 180cm long. For shorter tables the bar may overhang; for longer islands consider two Inoa fittings spaced along the run or a longer linear light.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The suspension cables are adjustable during installation, allowing the fitting to be set anywhere between 500mm and 2000mm from the ceiling. Once installed and the excess cable trimmed, the height is fixed unless the cables are replaced.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

No. The IP20 rating means the Inoa is not protected against moisture and must be installed in dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, shower rooms, or outdoor covered areas where condensation or spray may occur.
