Description

A parasol base, 50cm tall, in plastic. At 29cm wide it is about the width of a laptop. Where it goes matters as much as its weight: a base under a table is braced by the table, one standing free is not.

Moulded plastic is light and unbothered by being knocked, which is what makes it sensible where something will be handled or moved often. It will chalk slightly after years of direct sun.

Check the pole diameter against the base aperture before buying either. They are not standardised.

Covered or stored over winter it will last considerably longer than left out in it, and a fitted cover exists for that.
